"Knowledge is power", a tried and true phrase and one that CEO Sydney Robinson put into action by taking Council of Canadian Innovators | Conseil canadien des innovateurs (CCI) course, the Innovation Governance Program (iGP).
iGP Level 1, Sydney increased her knowledge around what roles Boards of Directors play and which elements of the business they need to be aware of to help companies avoid undo risks.
The best part of the course was the camaraderie in the small groups. The discussions in Group 8 and with the entire cohort solidified the learnings from the sessions in huge ways. We look forward to staying connected to our fellow graduates as we continue to learn about corporate governance and the roles it plays in start-ups like ours.
